2026 Winter/Spring Training Days for Members
Greater Pacific NW Retriever Club holds training days for club members at St. Louis Ponds near Gervais, Oregon. There will be a junior field set up with helpers and a senior/master field set up where handlers may choose how to run the set-up. Members are expected to volunteer in the field as there are no hired workers on training days. Training days are free for dead birds.
- January 24, Saturday, 9:00 at St. Louis Ponds. Dead birds.
- February 14, Saturday, 9:00 at St. Louis Ponds. Dead birds.
- March 14, Saturday Picnic Test format. 8:30 at St. Louis Ponds
2026 AKC Hunt Tests at St. Louis Ponds
- March 28-29 Spring Test - Saturday and Sunday. Master/Senior/Junior Stakes
- July 25-26 Summer Test - Saturday and Sunday. Master only.
- September 12-13 Fall Test - Saturday and Sunday. Master/Senior/Junior Stakes

St. Louis Fish Ponds County Park, Marion County
This is a public Marion County park open for dog training year-round in the marked area (south and west of the parking lot). The gates are now open all year. New this year: Pond D (the long channel east of the parking lot) has been added to the dog training grounds. Share this one with the fishermen.
